I have my 400-day Daily Tribute coming up in a couple of hours and I'm a little torn between the three mods that will be available: Primed Fury, Primed Shred, and Primed Sure Footed. I'm leaning towards Primed Fury, but Prime Sure Footed seems really good, too. Primed Shred has more limited uses on the weapons I use. Prime Sure Footed isn't the only option we have for status immunity though. Quite a number of frames have it built in or with augments. Folks just don't use the frames. PSF is just a great option for frames that don't have access to status immunity, albeit expensive. Yeah 100% should get Sure Footed on the pick after (day 400?). It is an incredible quality of life mod these days after the animation change. If Sure Footed was available on first pick I'd recommend that. Nowadays my pick order recommendation would be Fury -> Sure Footed -> Shred -> Vigor.

And there are still many methods to achieve knockdown immunity outside of primed sure footed. It is just that prime sure footed is the most universal and consistent option to slap onto anything and as such becomes the go-to option for the exilus polarity slot for most people. The block animation is precisely the reason why Primed Sure Footed is such a bad mod: Handspring is much easier to obtain, much easier to rank up, and much less costly, yet does the same job far better, because its reduced knockdowns are themselves quicker than PSF's block animation.

PC Bugs. Primed Sure Footed is not 100%. It says 100% chance to resist knock down but that also covers staggers and pull effects. It's not 100% though. I regularly stagger myself with AoE weapons even though I run Primed Sure Footed on almost every build. The acolytes in SP also seem to still stagger and knock me up in the air.
